Elsa wondered up to a house in the country during the deep freeze of winter. She was very skinny and has been feasting away. She has a super sweet personality and LOVES to be petted. She is ready for adoption!

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets listed below, you will need to fill out an adoption application.
The information on this application will be reviewed and references will be verified. From there, approved applications can set up a visitation meeting with the pet they are wishing to adopt. After a favorable visitation, applicants will complete an adoption contract verifying that they will provide the pet they are adopting with a safe and loving home and will provide veterinary care as recommended by thier veterinarian for the duration of this pet's life.
MILO
Shelter Arrival Date: April 21, 2018
Milo is a neutered male who is approximately a year and a half old. He is front declawed and very handsome. He is very shy and takes a while to warm up to people.
Daisy Mae
Shelter Arrival Date: June 2, 2018
Daisy Mae and her puppies were rescued through Street Tails. The puppies have stayed in foster care with Cindy at Street Tails and Daisy Mae came to stay with us to find a home of her own. She is approximately 3 years old and appears to be a hound mix with a lot of energy.

Le'Roy
Shelter Arrival Date: February 5, 2019
Le'Roy was saved from being cornered by a dog at one of our local care centers. She has got some crusty eyes and is very skinny, but is recovering and very loving. She has passed the Felk and FIV test and will be spayed as soon as her body condition has improved. She is named after one of the care center's special residents who recently passed away.
Atlas
Shelter Arrival Date: December 31, 2018
Atlas is a super friendly and playful cat. He is currently acting as our clinic greeter as he has a kennel facing the front door. He tested negative for Felk and FIV and has been vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and microchipped.
Lucky Paws of Madison County, an animal shelter in Winterset, also promotes animal adoption.

Chauncey
Shelter arrival date: November 5, 2018.
Chauncey was born around the first of August of 2018. He showed up as a stray at a home that was being put up for sale and one of our board members and her friend were able to catch him and bring him into the shelter. He can be a little shy, but is ready to find a home of his own!
Cindy Lou
Shelter Arrival Date: Winter of 2017
Cindy is a spayed female cat who is approximately 6 years old. She was found roaming the streets of Winterset and enjoys assisting Mitzi in the office. She is very laid back and enjoys eating and sleeping.
